Scrappy socks is a basic sock pattern that you can have fun with. I've told you where to change yarn if you're using up scraps to add contrasting heels, toes and cuffs but if you wanted to go all out, like I did with the sample, and make a pair completely with smaller scraps you can change yarn whenever you want. The most important thing with this pattern is that you can easily make it your own, and create a different pair of socks every time you knit it.
You also get to choose your knitting experience, whether you want to knit toe-up or cuff-down, the choice is yours as both are included in this pattern. I want you to enjoy revisiting your favourite yarns and creating socks as unique as you are.
You can find tutorials for all the techniques used in this pattern, as well as information on yarn substitution on my Substack, The Stitch & Bloom Society.
